Title of Activity: 2011 Industrial-Government-Academic Joint Forum in Tokyo -The Status Quo and Future Prospects of Element Strategy- Date and Time: November 19, 2011, 13:30-17:00 Venue: Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo 152-8550, Japan This event includes three invited lectures relating to “Element Strategy”: 1.Functional Materials and Element Strategy (Tokyo Institute of Technology) Hideo Hosono 2.Battery and Resources (Shin-Kobe Electric Machinery Co., Ltd) Tatsuo Horiba 3.Development of a Novel Process for Rare Metals Recycling (Advanced Industrial Science and Technology) Mikiya Tanaka We will have a forum on how to construct element strategy and how the research frontier correlates with chemistry and material science.
