The 33rd Annual Summer Holiday Exhibition for Children 2011/7/21 - 2011/8/31 < closed on Mondays > 10:00 ～18:00 (entry allowed until 17:30) Admission fees: 50yen for School pupils to high-school level, 100yen for Adults Jinnan 1-16-8, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan 150-0041 (10 minutes from Shibuya station) http://www.jti.co.jp/Culture/museum_e/ The effects of salt in your body! (exhibition) Everyone learn the role of salt for maintaining life and see how salt is used in various parts of the body?the stomach, intestines, nerves, and blood. They can experience going through the exhibition set that they can touch, or hop on a scale to weigh how much salt is in their bodies. Salt Laboratory (scientific demonstrations by instructors) Each day 11:00～, 13:30～, 15:30～ -- about 1 hour Experience & Inquiry Corner (workshops for simple experiments featuring salt) Salt-water Battery -- 6～8 times daily How to grow salt crystals onto your own designed frame -- 2 times daily Special Lectures on Salt -- 11:00～on Saturdays (except 8/27) |
