Marie Curie Poster Exhibition July 21 ` August 31, 2011 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. ( Closed Sunday and August 13-16 ) Place: Chemistry Gallery, Noyori Materials Science Laboratory, Nagoya University Celebrating International Year of Chemistry 2011, Research Center for Materials Science, Nagoya university present poster exhibition of Marie Curie. These posters were originally made by Curie Museum and Curie Institute by French language in Paris. Research Center for Materials Science, Nagoya University translated them to Japanese, and again posters were printed in France and send to Japan by diplomatic route. Poster exhibition is consisted of four sections. Part 1 Warsaw - Paris (1867-1895) Part 2 A common work (1895-1906) Part 3 Ordeals and Successes (1906-1918) Part 4 An international figure (1918-1934) Each of the posters beautifully designed and you can see many interest pictures of Marie Curie. Please come visit us and celebrate International Year of Chemistry together! |
