Long description | Title of Activities: One-day Experience in Chemical Experiments Schedule: July 23, 2011 Venue: Department of Materials and Applied Chemistry, College of Science and Technology, Nihon University, Kanda Surugadai, Chiyoda, Tokyo Scope: This event gives an opportunity to experience some chemical experiments for high school students who have interest in cutting-edge chemical sciences being carried out in universities. Program: Participants will do some experiments first hand under the guidance of our staff members. Participants will choose one of several courses ranging from biology-related chemistry to materials chemistry and to chemistry-related nanotechnology. They also have an opportunity to make a tour in our chemistry building, seeing chemical instruments, such as NMR, STM, SEM, etc. |
