gCatalysis Square: Important key technology for green, sustainable innovationh is a special public event on occasion of International Symposium on Catalysis and fine Chemicals 2011. The event consists of a special lecture for junior high and high school students, exhibitions, video and brief demonstrations (including cross coupling reactions) for better understanding and introduction of attractive topics in catalysis for establishment of green and sustainable society. This event is now being planned as follows: EDate: December 4, 2011 EVenue & place: Nara Prefectural New Public Hall, Kasugano, Nara EScope: Students (especially junior high and high school), general public EProgram: Lecture, exhibitions, videos, and demo experiments EParticipants: About 300 participants are expected.
