3. Short description		Regional Meeting of Kanto Branch of Chemical Society of Japan, intending to general and special presentation/discussion of fundamental and innovative chemical research, study of the status of chemical industry, discussion of chemical education, and so on.

Long description		The 5th Annual meeting of Kanto Branch of The Chemical Society of Japan will be held on August 30-31, 2011 at Koganei campus of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, which is situated near Higashi Koganei Station of JR Chuo Line for a few minutes walk to south-west. The meeting is held by assistance of over 30 universities/colleges and organisms located in West Tokyo, Saitama, Kangawa regions mainly to the westside against Tokyo Univesrsity of Agriculture and Technology. During the meeting, ca 180 oral presentations, ca 230 poster presentations, special lectures, and symposiums will be held on the topics covering all areas of chemistry such as chemical research, chemical industry, chemical education, and so on. The meeting is open to general public, non-CSJ member, chemists in the related area, and all persons who are interested in chemistry. The participation of the meeting needs essentially registration, however, some symposums are open to general public are non-CSJ member. Web Site :http://kanto.chemistry.or.jp/
