3. Short description		Panel discussion on national chemical education in junior and senior high School on the basis of experience in 42nd International Chemistry Olympiad held with Regional Meeting of Kanto Branch of Chemical Society of Japan.

Long description		The panel discussion on national chemical education will be held on August 31, 2011 in the 5th Annual meeting of Kanto Branch of The Chemical Society of Japan at Koganei campus of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, which is situated near Higashi Koganei Station of JR Chuo Line for a few minutes walk to south-west. The panel discussion participants are Prof. Tadashi Watanabe, the chair of the executive committee of IChO42 at Tokyo in 2011, Tomomi Samejima, a high school chemistry teacher employing partially IB Diploma course, Mr. Junichi Taki, Editorial and senior writer, NIKKEI Inc., and Dr. Takashi Yamagisi, former vice-president, TEIJIN LIMITTED. The discussion will been undertaken about the chemical education from the view point of the difference between domestic and over seas’ chemistry and science course of high schools on the basis of individual experience to IChO. The discussion will be fascilitated by Prof. Noriyuki Yonezawa, Chair of the Kanto Branch of CSJ (2011).
